One of our blueberry bushes produced:

...which I picked this afternoon. There are still probably that many more left on the bush, as they were not ripe yet. I think the other bush, which is a different variety of blueberry, must be later to fruit, as all its berries are still green.

Last weekend I went to Lavender Festival in Sequim. We didn't have the time or energy to go see all seven of the area lavender farms that were open for tours, but we did see three: Sunshine Herb & Lavender Farm (which I had been to once before), Jardin du Soleil, and Olympic Lavender Farm. So, I had a fun outing, a nice lunch of Ethiopian food at the street fair part of the festival, I got to pet a pair of llamas that a llama farmer had out for people to meet, and I stocked up on some dried lavender, since Central Market seems to be perpetually sold out. Now I can start working on some new dream pillows, since the lavender was the one item necessary for the project that I couldn't find in a local shop.
